CURRENT PLOT THEMES
Aspen Hollow is a RP that is set to be a pre-planned story with particular points to hit, but with flexibility with the inclusion of member interaction. Depending on future surveys, there may be future installments with definite ending to a story, or as we're more labelling this as, "Books" or "Seasons" as related to a TV show or book series. This means that Aspen Hollow may not be the only roleplay to be telling this storyline.
I hope that in the future this system meets my expectations of each iteration having a good ending to be on, leaving suspense for those who want to continue with the story, but good enough endings where anyone can stop there as they please.
With potential plans out of the way, we have a different system for plots as opposed to plot points told specifically as situations. We use plot themes instead, to allow for more flexibility by the members in the group.
What are PLOT THEMES?
Plot themes are words or phrases that are used to cover what's happening, while not giving a direct storyline as to what it is.
Are there still specific plot points that are done traditionally?
Yes, we'll still make paragraphs of plots happening when needed.
Potential Other Meanings:
- New friends
- New community
- New start
- New plans
- New connections
Potential Other Meanings is an added section to give some inspiration as to what your characters can do with the plot theme. There's usually a minimum of 5 examples shown, and none of which are required to do - again, rather left there as suggestions for inspiration.
Also known as sub-plots, there are plots separated into the different clans that don't naturally affect the RP as a whole or include the other clan. These get updated more often than plot themes, usually, but not always.

ASPEN HOLLOW
BOOK ONE
------------------
------------------
ACT 1
D I S C O V E R Y
The first act to book one of Aspen Hollow is DISCOVERY, where the clans discover the new land they washed up on by boat after running away from a history they don't remember much of. Memories of their old life is in fragments, and they don't know much more than who they are, who they live with, and who leads them.REMINDER: As stated in Aspen Hollow's rules, your characters history must have some linear areas with the history set in the roleplay. You can keep your normal history (as long as they don't include the book canon), just make sure they at least came to the current clans somehow before the island.
